WESCO REFEREE ASSOCIATION

WESCO Youth Soccer League will be hosting United States Soccer Federation Referee Courses for the 2006-07 Season. We are always looking for new referees, especially adult referees. The cost of the course is $55 but $25 of that (your referee registration fee) will be returned to you after you have been the center referee for ten league games.

Referees can earn from up to $40 per game, depending on the Class and Division of the game, and whether you are the Center or Assistant Referee.  Players, this is a great way to make some spending money while increasing your knowledge of the game.

Also, we are often in need of Monitors for the U-8 games.  This is an excellent opportunity for young players stretch their knowledge of the game as well as earn some money.  Contact the WESCO office for information on Monitor Training.

We will also offer a Referee Refresher Course August 9, 9am-2pm.
This is a great opportunity to refresh your memory on the Laws of the Game, find out about any changes the Laws as well as procedures, and to discuss the latest topics and concerns.
 

All will be held at the Brook Haven School, 7905 Valentine Ave., Sebastopol.
